Basically...my take on this whole flame thing.....

At least people are trying to help.  Sometimes I offer help and I may
or may not be right....but in any case I don't expect to get flamed
for it.  Just because someone doesn't necessarily have a good
answer...doesn't mean they should be flamed.  You would be amazed at
how many times I have been totally insane trying to fix something on
my machine....hours of work!!!  Only to have a less knowledgeable
friend of mine come over and say something "stupid".  And....you know
what....a couple of times this "stupid" solution was one that I had
overlooked :-)   i.e. "Are you sure you plugged the power cable onto
the hard drive??"  Doh!!!  Sometimes the most knowledgable computer
people overlook the simple solutions in favor of something more
complex.

I actually should have posted this in reply to the other
message....where Mike O'Malley was getting flamed....but..you get the
general idea :-)
