I don't think IBM cared if he had it or not...I mean, yeah, he lied-- but
he produced it as he said he would.  And IBM made money on it.  You think
IBM would have really cared that he lied?

I feel bad for the poor guy he bought DOS from....he's probably kicking
himself in the ass now.

What does that tell you about Microsoft's products? :)

Besides software support, I agree with you... but the massive numbers of
software companies that support Windows and not Mac make windows pretty
appealing.  That alone makes Windoze a better OS in one light (but not
most).

Gates' builds on the power of the masses.  As Job said at the end of
Pirates of Silicon Valley, "We have a better machine."  Gates just turns
around and says that that doesn't matter.
