Format program for MicroSoft Softcard?

I'm familiar with the Apple II and CP/M, but this is the first time I've
mixed the two.

What's the command to format a disk with the Microsoft Softcard? I got a
card and a CP/M system disk, but no docs. I was expecting a program like
initdisk.com or ddinit.com, but I don't see anything obvious (and I'm
afraid to get too experimental before I've made a copy of my system
disk!).

If there's an AppleII CP/M FAQ I missed that anyone can point me to, I'd
appreciate it.
