Re: Apple II software poll

Frogger
It's the only one I still like to play even with my IIe sitting next to my AMD
K6-2-400.

Wizardry, Ultima II, Zorks, Enchanter series, Temple of Apshai series
Obviously I'm into this sort of thing. These are all games that I enjoyed
playing the first time around, and every few years I pull them out and play them
again. I play the other Ultimas, too, but Ultima II was the first Ultima game I
played start to finish on my own, so it's special to me.

StarFleet I
I like all the intricacy of the game. Unlike StarFleet Battles, I don't have to
hunt up someone else who plays, too.
Robotwar
I still like building robots and watching them bash each other.

Reader Rabbit (my daughters both love it.) Math Rabbit and Spinnaker's Learn the
Alphabet are also favorites, as is the PD program Astronomy Tutor (got it off a
club disk, lo, these many years ago.)

AppleWorks
It's the only "application" I still use. Historically, I'd include Quicken.

AppleBasic, Merlin (Assembler), Forth79, Terrapin LOGO
I still use all of these. My older daughter is learning to program in
AppleBasic, and we do occasional exercises in the LOGO.

Koalapaint
The Koalapad is what makes this my favorite.
