No, you'd probably use a Dutch auction, where you put up 100 or so of the
product and take multiple bids. Everyone who bid would pay the same unless it
exceeded the quantity. I'm not sure if the rules for dutch auctions would allow

"new" software  or not.

I  feel bad for the people looking for system software and ending up with
ProDos v1.1. They don't know this stuff is available today.
