I remember downloading a driver a long time ago and I think it was
called JoyMouse but I don't think it was for controlling an ADB
joystick. If I remember correctly it was for making a standard Apple
II joystick act like a mouse.

This is handy for people with physical disabilities that have trouble
using a mouse but can handle a joystick or some other kind of device
that sends similar signals to the joystick port. It lets them use a
IIgs with a controller other than a mouse. Theorectically, if you
interfaced a Nintendo Power Glove with the Apple II joystick port, you
could use this driver to control your IIgs with the Power Glove. Talk
about point and click. :)

Anyways, I had thought of using this JoyMouse driver for my father so
he could play games like solitaire and such on my IIgs. My father had
ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's disease, and his motor control was slowly
diminishing. Unfortunately I didn't get this sort of thing set up
before he lost the ability to control a joystick. I tried to come up
with a different controller that he could use but it never got
completed.

He ended up using a TRS-80 Colour Computer 2 with two switches and a
program that my brother wrote and I modified so that he could at least
type in sentences so that he could still communicate with us once he
got to the point that he could no longer speak.
