Maybe you can pass this along to the user who asked the question:
With 256k of memory, you can't boot GS/OS. GS/OS is installed
on the Focus drive. That's why it won't boot. But the Focus drive
is working perfectly.
All you have to do is use a ProDOS 8 utility such as Copy II+ and
rename "ProDOS" on the root directory of the boot partition of
the Focus drive 60 to something else (like "P2" or something).
Next, copy "ProDOS" and "BASIC.SYTEM" from an old
ProDOS 8 disk.
The only problem with this approach is that you would be running
the 8-bit OS ProDOS 8 under IIe emulation. But with 256k, that's
what the user was doing to begin with, I suspect.
