The price and scarcity of Pmac logic boards will be a show stopper. Heck I
did well to get a loose LC520 logic board to swap into my Color Classic. I
would expect Pmacs to be harder to get. Plus only the non expandable
variety has a shot of fitting into a IIgs case due to size, and forget about
getting PCI or nubus cards to fit in a case that short.
Those are merely the facts. I'll leave out my opinion on doing a swap like
that.

I wouldn't care for such a monstrosity myself. I have a IIfx sitting on the
floor running Appleshare. The full size Mac IIs are twice as wide as a IIgs
and half again as deep. Now a Quadra 800 style box would be better but I
don't see card clearance since there's only room for three nubus cards and
that'd leave insufficient room for IIgs cards.
