Ah - Alltech tech support has informed me that the 256/1024
switch is a setting for the type of SIMM being used on the
board. But I still don't know why my system keeps
hanging when booting up GS/OS. Alltech gave me an RMA# and
said they'd test it, but if there is a less painful way to
solve this, please let me know. I guess the next step is to
try removing some of the SIMMs and seeing if that makes a
difference. . . .any other thoughts?
