Bet they are! The Apple II is a computer you can 'get into'-- not a grey box
that gets swapped out every couple of years.

The plain "II" symbol is the one most widely accepted as 'correct', or,
at
least, 'okay', for all Apple II models.

The, generally, preferred designations are ...

Apple ][ or Apple II for pre-II+ models
Apple ][+ or Apple II+
Apple IIe for non-enhanced IIe computers
Apple //e for 128k enhanced //e computers
Apple //c
Apple IIc+
Apple IIgs or GS or best (if you have the fonts) "II" followed by "GS" in
     reduced size.

Just "A2" is fairly common when referring to series-wide products or
concerns such as "A2 software", "A2 web sites", ...

Alltech is a good place to get lots of IIgs stuff. If you have a question
about anything you are ordering, ask for Tony Diaz.

Yes; our newbie guides could stand some souping up. On the other hand, if we
make them too good then new Apple II owners will think they are supposed to look
up stuff in the FAQs before asking anything here-- _not_ so, by the way.

A TRS-80 for a Dell 386/25? You came out way ahead in that deal!
