The IIc has some circuitry inside, but the bulk of the power supply is
fondly refered to as a "brick on a leash", with a AC cable going to the
wall and a 5 pin cable going to the IIc.

The IIc+ has a typical computer cable 3 pin AC socket that a typical 3 pin
AC line cable plugs into, with all the power supply internal to the IIc+.
