G32 Adaptive Firmware Card
I have this card that came in one of the GS machines that I bought recently,
and I was wondering if anyone had information, documentation, or software
for it. It is made by Adaptive Peripherals Inc. and is labeled as a G32
Adaptive Firmware Card. An external adapter plugs into the card through
what looks like a fifty pin high density connector (I didn't count the
pins). On the external unit is what looks like a standard Centronics
parallel connection, two 1/8" phono connections label "SW-1" and "SW-2" and
an on/off toggle switch.
I have read about someplace using what I assume is this card to allow
disabled children to use a GS computer through the use of a special
manipulator.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You for your time,
Chuck :-)
p.s. if you noticed that I have posted this twice and are wondering why it
is because I was working on something to set the date based on a time signal
that is transmitted by most radio and television stations. Anyway it is not
perfected, and I forgot to reset the year when I put everything back.
