I'm wondering if you are mixing up the difference between Apple ][ systems
with Integer BASIC installed and Apple ][+ systems with Applesoft...
The //c and //c+ are very different animals. In addition to having
differently-sized internal drives (3.5 inch vs. 5.25 inch), the //c+ runs
quite a bit faster than the //c...I'm not sure if it's 1 mhz vs. 4 mhz, but
it's something like that.
Also, and perhaps most importantly, the //c and //c+ have totally different
connectors on the back of the machine. The //c+ has //gs style "small"
peripheral ports. The ones on the //c were the larger round ones, 2-3 times
as large as the ones on the //c...You would be hard pressed to use external
peripherals from a //c+ with a //c (or the other way around).
