AWGS 1.0 is not GS/OS compliant. It was written before GS/OS
and only runs under ProDOS 16. When GS/OS was released,
Claris (then the publisher of AWGS) released version 1.1, which
also fixed a lot of bugs.

Basically, if you want AWGS to run from your hard drive, which
has GS/OS installed, you must upgrade to version 1.1.

http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech Electronics sells AWGS 1.1 for
$10. They revised their web site, so you might not find it listed
there, but they were selling it. You can also try emailing Tony
Diaz, who has a web site at http://www.apple2.org/ directly for
the exact status of AWGS 1.1 and whether or not Alltech is
still selling the program.
