Been there...done that...

I started out as an 8-bit Apple II user and played lots of 8-bit
Apple II games. However, when I got the IIGS, it so
completely blew me away that I simply stopped using the
8-bit stuff and turned into a "pure" IIGS user.

I know I'm going to be flamed for this and anticipate things
like "Supertimer is just like a Mac user who has passed the
8-bit Apples by, except he uses a IIGS instead of a Mac"
but I think comp.sys.apple2 is big enough for two types
of diehard Apple II users. Those that like mainly the IIGS
and its software and those that like that like the 8-bit stuff
too (or mainly the 8-bit stuff).

So Apple II Forever. I just think of the it as specifically
Apple IIGS. ;-)
