Nope. You can use the drive itself as the IIGS hard drive, though,
but not at the same time as with the IBM. For example, I have a
1GB IBM SCSI hard drive that serves ONLY my Apple IIGS (and
I have >500MB of it filled up!) and it works like a charm. There
are controller cards for both SCSI and IDE on the IIGS that take
drives of up to 2GB in size. But again, you need to take the drive
from the IBM and connect it to the IIGS and reformat the drive.
However, such a networking program might be available in the
near future. TCP/IP for the IIGS has been released recently
and with such a connection, the door to server/client software
is open.
