You need:
	1.  A bridge.  I use a Cayman Gatorbox CS.  Another possibility
	    is a Shiva Fastpath.  There are others.  Contact Alltech or
	    look on *.forsale.
	2.  A server package.  The two primary choices are Netatalk
	    and CAP.  I use Netatalk.

Regarding booting, I assume that either Netatalk or CAP will allow you
to boot over the network, but I have no first hand experience in this.
My system is set to boot from the local hard disk and then import various
"drives" via Appleshare.
