Re: Appletalk to Ethernet?

Sure, its called a bridge, and there are two kinds Appletalk and TCP/IP,
with the later newer and more expensive. The bridge can be software
running on a Mac (or maybe a PC running LINUX), or a little box. In my
hoard of stuff I have a GatorBox, and a EtherGate which both can bridge
whole networks, as well as devices that just handle a single serial or
localtalk client.

The question though is, what is it you want to accomplish? I just want to
do some file sharing myself, so my plan is to run COMM software on a Mac
(something like Okyto the mini BBS from White Knight) and connect my Apple
II era systems via serial null modem cables.
