My article wasn't talking about USB - I was discussing the possibilities
of supporting "foreign" cards with an Apple II (e.g. ISA, PCI or Nubus
cards).

USB was merely one of the interface options that could be supported
under Frank's idea, by connecting an existing PCI or ISA card which
implements it.

I agree that USB seems to be a more feasible idea, for at least some
types of peripherals.  I think the best way to support it would be to
implement an Apple II card with a USB chipset, probably its own
processor, and enough memory to provide buffering as required on the
card.

The rest of my article would make no sense if you thought I was talking
specifically about interfacing USB devices to the Apple II.
