We have seen one IIGS-only program which has Y2K problems at the 39/40 cutoff.
We gave the information to the author, and I don't know if he fixed it or not.

All of the others we are working with are ProDos 8, so 39/40 doesn't apply.
Problems do occur before the Year byte becomes a "1," when the month becomes an
8. So when testing for Y2K problems, ProDos 8 users should always run their
tests under a system date between January 1, 2000 and July 31, 2000. August 1
and later, the Year byte is at least a 1, and could mask Y2K problems.
