Regarding the appalling BASIC that M$ cobbled together for the Amiga
(RIP).

Yes, you may have potentially started something contentious, but you can
rectify your mistake by visiting the Amiga, Inc. home page
<http://www.amiga.com>, or the Amiga International home page
<http://www.amiga.de>, and then refraining from posting any other
potentially inflammatory remarks about other platforms. Imagine the
uproar if I were to post something like "Apple II (RIP)." :-)

AmigaBASIC was just a port of M$'s sad BASIC core, the one that had been
in use since the days of the Altair BASIC, M$'s first product.
