There are MANY of us with telecom programs for the Apple.
http://www.intrec.com/ Intrec makes ProTERM 3.1, which can
be used on the IIc Plus. It supports VT100, Zmodem, and
much much more.
The IIc+'s 3.5" drive will certainly read ProDOS formatted
Apple II disks if those disks are 800k DS/DD 3.5" disks!
If you need the boot disk in this format or other software for
the IIc Plus, email MikeW50@aol.com who is licensed to
distribute it.
For general software, try http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech
Electronics. You'll find AppleWorks 3.0 on 3.5" disks for
about $10, for example.
Another good place to look for software is the
http://www.crl.com/~joko ShareWare Solutions II page.
There is also CrossWorks from http://www.sequential.com/
Sequential Systems, which includes a null modem cable
and translation software for moving files between the IIc
Plus and a Windows PC at 19200 baud.
With the combination of CrossWorks, AppleWorks, and
a battery pack/LCD panel for the IIc Plus, you'll have
a transportable computer that you can word process
with (using AppleWorks) and then easily dump files to
the Windows PC in PC format (MS Works, WordPerfect,
etc.) using CrossWorks. I'm not advocating doing this,
but it is a neat thought. ;-)
