Well, a couple years back, Gus made the rounds on some FTPs and Hotline, a
sort of chat/file transfer client/server kind of thing...I guess it's like
a combo of IRC and FTP, with a pretty interface and none of the really
powerful features...
So thusly, in theory, anyone could have it even if just through the
'friend of a friend' type handoffs.
But...that may very well be an earlier, buggy copy. I know it was an early
dev copy, fairly unpolished.
I tried to get a teacher friend to sign up for Gus, but she didn't want
to, and by the time I found a teacher who did want Gus, the email address
didn't respond anymore, and the webpage signup form was gone...<sigh>

<sigh> heh. well, I think it also may be the 'I can't have Bernie so Gus
is twice as good' situation. But dunno. The more I hear of any of this
'World vs Turley', the less I want to. I don't want to step onto a side,
so I really don't want an elaborated rant in my email, I have appreciated
a few emails clueing me in on some questions, but I don't want to open my
mailbox to see a bunch of rants or accusations this time. Turley, I don't
have a reason to have anything personally against you, but boy, you've
really got an anti-following.
