It seems to be much easier to make an image of a floppy, than it is
to make a floppy from an image. So, I guess the question is, is there
an easier way to get disk images written back to floppy? My brother
and I spent a good 8 hours trying to find programs that would do it,
but we were able to only frustrate ourselves. It's really depressing
to have a bunch of disk images and no way to put them on floppies to
run on an Apple //e. I guess it wouldn't bother me so much had my //e
included the usual set of ProDOS disks that shipped with //e's in the
mid 80's, but I got nothing on floppy with this used system. Of
course, I'm also frustrated with myself for being unable to remember
any of my Applesoft knowledge. I used to be a fairly decent
programmer, a decade ago. Oh well, I finally got a //e of my own, and
I can't remember how to program it, let alone not being able to save
my work at this point. I suppose I'll be able get my brother, who has
a bunch of Apple's, to format a disk or two for me to build from, but
that does nothing for the dilemma of having images that I can run in
an emulator, but that's not the same as running it on an Apple.
