I certainly wouldn't say that "no-one here seems to want to pirate"
software (Marinetti is restricted distribution freeware, by the way).

I don't think the finger pointing has stopped.  I think it is more
likely that those of us who still have problems with the actions of
some of the people here are just being quiet about it.  I personally
don't like fanning the flames so I just keep out of the fights.  I
still read everything and there is still a stuff being posted that
upsets me but I won't let myself get drawn into a long, pointless and
unproductive flame war because of it.

Things haven't been too bad but what will most likely happen if the
stuff that bugs me continues for too long or gets worse then I'll
probably just quietly disappear.

However, don't anyone get too worried.  I've been reading this
newsgroup for the past seven or eight years and I've lived through
some pretty rough stuff.  :-)
