Richard Bennet, Marinetti, CSA2 etc etc

Ya know, some things never change.

Richard Bennett (who as a person I dont particularly like) who is a great apple
II developer finally releases a great upgrade to the apple II line of
computers. It is called marinetti v2.0.

A whole suite of applications are inevitably going to be released giving the
IIgs some pretty cool functionality.

I for one would pay $50.00 for this product, if I had a use for it. But he
charges $10.00.

And as far as I know, no-one here seems to want to pirate the software (or any
other software that is currently available). And if they do, nothing you can
say or do is going to change that. There are pirates everywhere, even on
delphi. Dont punish the entire A2 world for a few bad apples....

Never has CSA2 been so un-polarized. Since nathan left, things have been
peaceful, and the finger pointing has all but ceased.

Richard, not everyone is a pirate. I know what the rumors say about me. I can
only say "dont believe what you read". Your opinion of me, as well as several
other people is overly sensitive and not entirely accurate.

To the rest of the people on CSA2. Richard is a jerk. But he is also a great
software developer. At least give him that respect. He isn't in here starting
flame-fests like nathan did 3 times a week, so back off of him.

I for one applaud richard for releasing marinetti 2.0. It is a great
accomplishment. I also applaud all the software developers who continue to
develop for the apple 2. I hope the remaining CSA2 and Delphi readers will
support your efforts. I also hope that you continue to support the CSA2 users.
We are not all bad folks, regardless of what the rumors say.

Bottom line:

DEVELOPERS: Stop polarizing issues, and give CSA2 a break.
CSA2'ers: Stop attacking the developers. Give them a break.

Let's all appreciate what whe have, and stop pointing fingers.

Not a single one of us is bigger than the legacy of the apple II, and that is
what CSA2/Delphi is all about!
