Re: Freezing IIGS



Back in the days when I had my "Hardware" gs, I had problems with it locking
up... there were two things which were affecting it.  First, one of the ram
chips had a bent pin and was not connecting roperly in the socket.
Correcting that solved most of the problems, but also, my machine seemed to
freeze up a lot when it was over 90-95 degrees outside.  So I bought a
kensington system saver  gs which fit neatly on top of the computer and had a
fan inside which drew air through the gs and out the top.  After that,
everything worked fine.
