IIe mouse troubleshoot: moves vertically only

     HOW TO FIX IIE MOUSE?????

	I have a IIe mouse (db-9 plug).  Physically it is good, but the
cursor moves only vertically, not horizontally.

	Any suggestions on troubleshooting?  Could an LED be burned out
---- how could that be determined???  Can the LED be seen if its on?
