Just to add to that, Mike Searl is the author who was behind
that project (in addition to another one, involving a QuickTime
movie player and a PhotoCD viewer for the Second Sight board).
When I last spoke with him, at least a few years back, he claimed
that sound support hadn't been done yet, and it still required
more optimizing to get it running at a decent speed.

I lost contact with Mike, but last I heard he abandoned work
on all three projects and no longer uses his IIgs.

Another work I'd like to see released is the Sword of Sodan
alpha version (the two people I know who have a copy refuse to
release it due to a non-disclosure agreement they signed with a
company that no longer exists).

From what I read, it sounds more like he is trying to *port*
several Nintendo games over to the IIgs. That is much different
from writing an emulator.

It would be pretty much near impossible to write a Nintendo
emulator, let alone a SuperNintendo emulator. I tried running
a popular and well optimized Nintendo emulator on my 386DX-25
machine for fun, it ran glacial.
