i think GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is the same time as London, England...
the East Coast of the US is something like 5 hours behind GMT.  (that's
where i am.  i'm not worried about the Left Coast unless i'm chatting with
my dad...)

don't you just LOVE scheduling conflicts?

let's see...  can't do IRC at work because of firewalls.  by the time i
get home and my son goes to bed, it's 8pm EST, which would make it
(ummm...) 2am your time.  <shudder>  looks like we're aiming at a weekend,
eh?  <g>
