    Well worse than that, you must have an America OnLine account
to join in the chat, in addition to owning a PC or Macintosh. If
you want to get more people participating, why not set up a live
chat on an IRC channel? Go create a channel called "#appleII" on
the main IRC server (#appleIIgs is still there and active, but
it is no longer used to discuss the Apple II related things).
You could also resurrect "#appleII" on the undernet.org server.
