Wang LPS/LIS-8 printer w/Apple //gs

Does anybody know anything about the Wang LPS/LIS-8 laser printer?  I
happened to find one discarded by a company in the same office complex
where I work, and took it in, tried to give it a good home - anyway, there
is a "test print" button that produces a test page, but I have had no luck
printing anything useful with it, not even text... I saw somewhere on the
net where somebody else had gotten ahold of one of these beasties and
couldn't even print from his PC onto it... anyway, I'm just wondering if
anybody knows if there's any special way it has to be interfaced with an
Apple, and if a driver is out there somewhere for it... any ideas?
