Type changer on IIgs

I downloaded TypeChanger for the IIgs but I can't seem to make it work, the
instructions say that you have to load into Basic but it just doesn't work,
when I try to execute the bload command like this: bload tchange.bin, ttxt,
a2048 I get the following message: FILE TYPE MISMATCH.

What am I doing wrong?

I have downloaded a couple of programs for my IIgs but I can't run anything.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
