The copy protection used by MECC is going to block transfers.

DSK2FILE is a good utility for creating disk image files on a 128k
//e ... IIgs. It requires that the source diskette be non-copy
protected.

     No.

As far as I know, there is no utility which will transfer
copy-protected diskettes. One way or another, the transfer process
involves producing a non-copy protected .dsk, .nib, .sdk, ... file
before doing a transfer.

IIgs or II+, it does not matter. The barrier is the copy
protection.

There do not appear to be any sites which maintain .dsk files of
MECC software. So, you will not be able to just download the disk
images.

A good try is to get an MECC copy program by John Kielkopf named
"meccopy". You can find it as meccopy.sdk on Ground at ...

ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/2/apple2/apple8/Utils/

Meccopy will make copy de-protected copies of many MECC products. (To
get the program going on your Apple II, transfer meccopy.sdk file to the
Apple and use ShrinkIt 3.4 to unshrink the file to a formatted 5.25"
diskette.)

Once you have deprotected copies of the MECC disks, there should be
no problem transferring them to the PC using ADT.
