GS/OS booting problem

I had to erase the first partition of my Focus hard drive card and
reinstall the system software. I added everything on the System 6.1 disks
and everything on the Quality Computer Bonus Disks.  Somehow in all of
this I gave the impression that AppleTalk is connected. 

Shortly into the booting I get the following message, "The selected
AppleTalk connection could not be found. Be sure it is installed and the
slot settings in the Control Panel are correct."

I made inactive all the Desk Accessories and Inits that appeared to be
related to AppleTalk.  I couldn't see anything in the Control Panel
settings that indicated AppleTalk.

What should I do?
