     If the IIc Tech Reference manual is like the ones for the IIe and
IIgs, it should include a schematic. Perhaps Byte Works can supply a

     A power supply problem of some kind sounds like a pretty good bet.
One fairly easy try at a fix is to check the wires going from your power
'brick' to the plug and replace any which show above average resistance.
If a wire has several breaks (due to years of flexing), the result would
be a higher resistance and inadequate current to power the computer.
