Yes, there was a clone of GS ShrinkIt called Shrink II by
EGO Systems.  Since http://www.crl.com/~joko Shareware
Solutions II's Joe Kohn is a personal associate of EGO
Systems' former owner, he might have a copy he can sell
you.  It did everything, even extract GS ShrinkIt files
(important because IIGS files have resource forks and
GS ShrinkIt and thus Shrink II can handle extended files).

Well, I would not mess with ProDOS at all.

The IIGS, under System 6.0.1 with the HFS FST installed
can read, write, and format Macintosh HFS disks.  If you
only got the standard drive (not the SuperDrive) for the
IIGS, make sure to use only 800k double-density HFS
disks, but IT CAN HANDLE HFS.

Thus, just download onto the Mac, but DO NOT MESS
WITH PRODOS.  Just put it on a regular Mac 800k
HFS disk and let the IIGS do the rest.

By the way, did I mention you can get a IIGS hard drive,
the Focus hard drive card, from http://www.allelec.com/
Alltech Electronics for only $59 and that this hard drive
has System 6.0.1 preinstalled plus freewares and sharewares?
