Your GS SHOULD have the font "Symbol" available. It has been included with
every version of GS/OS since at least 4.0. If you don't have it installed,
check your original System Disk and System tools disk, or all six disks from
System 6 until you find it.

Most GS/OS word processors use the fonts installed on your startup disk. I
would recommend AppleWorks GS, but there are several free or shareware
choices available. Check Ground for GSX Edit, WriteAway, or the NDA
ShadowWrite.

I would also recomend you get Font/DA Installer if you are using a disk based
system instead of a hard drive. This program will let you load fonts "on the
fly" that aren't in the fonts folder of your system disk. I don't think IR
allows you to do this, but I could be wrong. I have both installed on my
system because I like Font/DA's auto jump to the folder I want instead of
going through the hierchey. I am not sure if it is available on the 'net, but
if it isn't, I'll upload it to ground and caltech.

I don't remember if Greek is one of the choices for the keyboard layout, and
my GS is five miles away at the moment. But if it isn't, you will have to
learn which keys make what letter using the font Symbol.

If you are missing Symbol, download System 6.0.1 from Apple's FTP site.
