Sorry this wont work if it did their would be a lot of IIGS's with super
drives..it has something to do with the internal ROM i believe.. I have 2
Super drives but they are connected to a super drive card which is in the
IIGS slot
on the Early Macs to do this involves a ROM? change if you put a 1.44 in
the bay it will read like a 800k
