: The A9M0106 is the standard 800k Apple 3.5" drive as used with the
: IIgs and IIc+. There is some repair information in the CSA2FDISK.TXT

: Mainly, the information relates to cleaning and swapping in drive
: mechanisms (e.g. from a Mac). There is also some info on getting around
: a GS/OS glitch which occasionally causes a 3.5" drive to not be
: recognized.

: So far, I have not come upon any details for doing head replacement
: or alignment on the 3.5" Apple drives. (One reason may be that new Sony
: R/W heads are expensive and a hassle to find.) The usual fix for a
: drive with bad or dislodged heads is find a replacement drive or swap in
: a known good mechanism.
