Not only that, but it'll probably be the fastests file system the
Apple IIgs will have. Just look at how slow HFS and MS-DOS are...HFS is
nice because of the bigger drive sizes and the longer filenames. It's a
tradeoff I guess. I still believe HFS+ is overkill for the GS...
Too bad we just couldn't get the MS-DOS.FST finished (with write)
and maybe find a way to speed up the HFS one a little bit. I'd be content
with that.

Yeah, it'd be nice if we could get some people to organize and
actually do it. It'd be nice to get Apple's blessings as well. Perhaps
the programmers could be reimbursed ($$$) for their noble efforts. I'd be
willing to pay $40 or so for an upgrade (that's how much I paid for System
6.0 and 6.01 each many years back).
