Leave Willie alone. He is just expressing his opinion and if he
has been kind enough to let everyone on either side express
theirs, the least we can do is allow him to express his.
If there is a wallet on a table and someone takes it from in
front of the owner and gives it to a third party and the third
party says "hey, there's only 50 cents in here and I don't see
the owner coming to claim it, so I'll keep it" some people
might call the police. Others might confront the third party
and demand the wallet be given back to the owner. Still
others might inform the owner.
Just because the wallet is not ones own, if one sees such
an act happening, many of us would be moved to action.
Some others might say "it is the owner's responsibility."
Willie is in the former group and it is a very noble stance.
