IIc hard drive hack?
The Apple IIe, IIc and IIc+ all use the same
technology, don't they?
On the IIc and +, the motherboards are built
without slot connectors. Aren't the same
signals used on the IIc for 5.25 drive access,
serial access, etc?
Would it be possible to find where the signals
go on the motherboard, and install a Focus
Hard Drive in a IIc?
My idea is that you may be able to solder
some wires to the Focus Card connectors, and
then attach them to the Motherboard. Maybe
the use of one of the ports would have to be
compromised? Use the signals that go to SLOT
1 (serial) to run the Focus card.
Any thoughts?
