Re: Apple II Optimizer released

Is this the OPTIMIZER from Quality Computers (1993) by Dan DiMaggio? I
have it, and it works good, either on IIe or IIgs. Its created no new
problems --- it either optimizes (recopies files so that they are all in a
continuous section) or, if faults exists, it quits, leaving the hatrd
drive no worse than before.

The one "danger" is that, once started, it must not be interrupted. A
power line failure could leave it hanging with unpredictable results.

The upshot: Just use it when there is no danger of power failure!
