Hmmm. Sorry, I didn't notice a Toshiba question. Besides, I can't offer any
help. :-(

I am a SOL Apple HS-SCSI user. I ordered a NEC drive from Alltech this
past spring. They sent a Toshiba instead. It didn't work at all at first.
But after disassembling and re=instaling jumpers it now works as a data-only
CDROM (meaning I can use Discquest, DQ Encyclopedia, Sys 6.0 Golden master,
etc). Audio does NOT work. I was promised a solution from Alltech but "he"
was not able to find one evidently because his e-mails to the effect of
"I'm trying" stopped coming. This is another instance when the Ramfast is
the preferable scsi interface ;-) For HS-scsi users, the CD-150 is the
preferable CD-Rom drive.
