   When you go into the config control panel, look at Slots; precisely
Startup at the bottom of the screen.  Change it to read Slot 6 if it isn't
already.  Re-boot your GS (ctl-oa-reset) with a good ProDOS disk in it. It
is already set to Slot 6, then your boot disk would be suspect.  It's
cheaper to get another boot disk that to throw out the drive and get
another.
