I dunno. When I grep a pdf, I get way too many hits. But on most
decent books, there is both a "Table of Contents" and an "Index", that
does a much better job of "grepping".

Besides, I did not buy a reader, but did buy a netbook last year, and
I can report to you that in my favorite reading position it has a
tendency to slip between my legs...
