I had that same problem the first time I did the same. The way I believe it
works is that most A2 SCSI cards need to boot off the first partition on
the
HD. If it isn't a ProDOS partition or there's no system software on it you
can't boot. When I've partitioned a HD since I've made sure the first
partition is ProDOS . For a while I had a HD set up so a Mac or IIgs would
boot off the appropriate partitions. Thought it would make a handy
emergency disk but I never did use it.
