I have to disagree regarding all ram being 'equally good' for the
following reasons:

1) not all ram has the same warranties <and trust me, ram CAN fail>

2) I've seen a lot of 'no-name' ram fail, but I haven't seen too many
'name' brand ram simm/dimms fail <viking, newer, etc.>

and last but not least, WHERE you buy the ram is important too - to make
sure you get the right ram in the first place, that it's properly matched
if your computer needs it, and also if there is a problem, you will be
taken care of. There are some jerks out there that will resell old ram as
'new'. If the price is too good to be true for new ram.... it probably is.

btw - macwarehouse DOES have ripoff prices on ram. I do agree on that. = )
