apple 11e monitor cable

I recently aquired an Apple 11e computer system. I have all the original
manuals.
The RCA jacks between the cpu and monitor were damaged. I assumed they were
RCA and replaced them. But after replacing them the monitor is still not
picking up the signal.  I am booting to a: and I can hear the program
loading but can see nothing but a bright green screen. I get no prompt.

Any troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated. Maybe a bad video
card?
I have no components to troubleshoot with other than the system itself.
